Seller Description

This 2011 BMW 1M is one of 983 cars delivered to North America during the model’s single-year production run, and it has remained registered in California from new through the seller’s acquisition in 2013. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six mated to a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Valencia Orange Metallic over black Boston leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, the Convenience and Premium packages, 19″ Style 359M alloy wheels, xenon headlights, rear Park Distance Control, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access, navigation, and a Harman Kardon surround-sound system. Modifications include an Akropovic axle-back exhaust system, a BMW M Performance electronic steering wheel, and a BMW M Performance carbon-fiber trunk lid spoiler. This 1M is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, two remote keys, additional carpet floor mats, the removed stock equipment, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is one of 435 examples finished in Valencia Orange Metallic (B44) for the North American market, and it features model-specific bumper covers, side skirts, flared fenders, and quad exhaust outlets. Additional details include xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming side mirrors, rear parking sensors, LED taillights, and a carbon-fiber M Performance trunk lid spoiler that was installed under current ownership. Paint protection film has been applied to the hood and front fascia, and the body is said to have been ceramic coated in 2021. Chips in the paint and windshield are shown up close in the image gallery below.

The 19″ Style 359M alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 245/35 in the front and 265/35 at the rear showing 2011 date codes. The 1M utilizes suspension and braking components sourced from the contemporary M3 and features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with M Dynamic Mode (MDM) as well as Dynamic Brake Control. Stopping power is from M-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at each corner.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats and rear bucket seats upholstered in black Boston leather with orange contrast stitching, and Alcantara upholstery accents the shift boot, doors, and dashboard. Features include Comfort Access, BMW Assist, iDrive infotainment with navigation, satellite radio, a Harman Kardon surround-sound system, a BMW Business CD stereo, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The Alcantara-wrapped BMW M Performance electronic steering wheel features shift indicator lights and a digital readout that can display a stopwatch, lap times, fuel consumption data, and g-force measurements. It frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles, approximately 9,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54B30 inline-six was factory rated at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with an overboost function allowing for an additional 37 lb-ft of torque in short bursts. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. A titanium Akropovic slip-on axle-back exhaust system was installed under current ownership, and the battery was replaced in August 2022.

Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with service records, two remote keys, a set of uninstalled M-branded carpet floor mats, and the removed stock exhaust, steering wheel, and trunk lid spoiler.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California.
