Seller Description

Doug's Take

The BMW 1M is a fantastic sports coupe, and it's one of my very favorite cars from this era: I love the sizing, I love the performance, and I love the rarity. In fact, BMW sold fewer than 1,000 of these in North America (with a reported 740 in the USA), making them particularly uncommon -- and nice examples routinely traded at or above MSRP for years after they left the market. This particular 1M is highly equipped, and window tint is its sole modification, which is impressive. It also touts a clean, accident-free Carfax report, which gives the next owner peace of mind.

Highlights

THIS... is a 2011 BMW 1M coupe, finished in Alpine White with a black interior.

  • The attached Carfax history report indicates no accidents, damage, or mileage discrepancies in this 1M's past, and just two owners from new.
  • A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of notable equipment includes the Premium Package, the Convenience Package, 19-inch M light alloy wheels, adaptive xenon headlamps, Boston leather upholstery, heated front sport seats, a Harman/Kardon surround sound system, and more as detailed below.
  • The only modification to this 1M is a 3M window tint.
  • The M version of BMW's parts-bin offering, known as the "E82" internally, was intended to be a limited-production model, but proved popular enough to warrant tripling the original production quota to just over 6,300 units. Its turbocharged engine was a polarizing departure from previous M cars, as was its funky styling — though the car has gained a substantial and loyal following since production ended in 2012.
  • Power comes from an "N54" 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6, rated at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
