Seller Description

I am the original owner of this amazing 2011 BMW 1M (WBSUR9C51BVP76235). The car was ordered on Feb 14, 2011 and picked up Aug 19, 2011 at BMW of Peabody in Peabody, MA. The car is in the most beautiful and desirable Valencia Orange, a black leather interior and has an amazing 6 speed manual transmission. The 1M is powered by the most powerful variant of the N54 twin-turbocharged 3.0L I-6 engine producing 335 HP and 332 ft-lb of torque with bursts to 369 ft-lb in overboost. This is a limited production model and is one of 983 US spec cars out of 6342 produced. The car has 32,468 miles and comes with complete service records, literature, window sticker, commemorative items, and clean Massachusetts title. The E82 1M has a bulldoggish look - square, squat, and muscular. It is a relatively small coupe, but has a quiet, aggressive presence. The 1M borrows some great parts from the E90 M3, taking the differential, rear suspension, brakes, wheels and tires. The beautiful M3 Style 359 19” wheels are staggered: F - 9x19” 245/35-19, R - 10x19” 265/35-19. When it is delivered to you with 2 keys, it’ll be shod in brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires (installed 3/20/21), a fresh oil/filter change and basically new (7/2019) KW V3 coilovers, so it’s ready to run! The 1M was maintained at BMW of Peabody under extended warranty with all recalls done. Now it is lovingly cared for by EuroTech Motorsports in Natick, MA It has been a pleasure owning and driving the 1M. I had 2 E36 M3’s before this, and this is SO much better. I currently just don’t have enough time to drive her or the garage space to store her. This car loves to run and run hard. However, I only got to drive her less than 500 miles over the last 12 months. Garaged and put away from November to April/May every year, so has never seen New England winters. So. It. Is. Time. It needs someone who can give her more attention and will let her run as it is built to be driven. And then time to pamper her at the end of the day. The 1M is basically stock, but with some tasteful modifications: 2011 - Front clear wrap from dealership 2012 - Vorshlag Adjustable Camber Plates 2014 - Schroth Quick Harness anchors and two Schroth 4 point harnesses in red 2019 - KW V3 Coilover Kit The 1M was made for driving, so the car was tracked, but never abused. Brake fluid usually changed before every event and ran on PFC track pads. On track, it ran on separate 4 square 18” D-Force wheels. I stopped tracking the 1M about 4 years ago after getting a Porsche Turbo for that duty. The car is not a garage queen, it was driven, but is lovingly maintained. The interior is 9/10, but the exterior has a few rock chips. Also, unfortunately, there were 3 small incidents. On her last track session, the passenger side rear quarter panel was creased by a Corvette trying to pass in my blind spot on a right hand corner. Lucky no serious injury or serious damage to cars or drivers. The body panel was fixed by high end Auto Engineering Body Works of Belmont, MA. The first incident happened at month 6 when I was stopped at a stop light. A ServiceMaster truck crashed into a one month old Honda CRV stopped in back of me and pushed it into the 1M which left an indent on the bumper. The ServiceMaster driver said he didn’t see the line of stopped cars in front of him - wonder what he was doing at the time. The bumper was replaced by Today’s Collision Repair in Malden, MA and we were able to get the last OEM 1M bumper from Germany I was told. The third incident happened in 2020 when the car slid out of the garage and lightly bumped into the retaining wall on the lower passenger rear quarter panel. This was fixed by high end detailer Accurate Automotive Service of Woburn, MA. Sorry, I do not have any pictures of the scraps. The 1M Coupe is the spiritual successor to the BMW 2002. It is raw and unadulterated without all intrusive nannies of more recent sports cars. The 3 pedals are perfectly placed and the shifter just nicks into place - not as surgical as changing gears in my old Honda S2000, but close enough. They were made for model year 2011 in limited quantities. If you like driving, then here's your chance to own this limited production memory maker. It’s the best combination of a driver's car and a sometimes garage queen. Serious offers email.
