2011 BMW 1-Series M Coupe in Alpine White 3 over Black Boston Leather with Orange Stitching
  • Exterior Color Alpine White 3

Seller Description

This 2011 BMW 1M is one of 983 examples delivered to the North American market during the model’s single-year production run, and is finished in Alpine White over black Boston leather with orange stitching. Power is from a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The car was ordered without navigation, and features manual seats with adjustable bolsters as well as a Harman Kardon sound system with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB adapter. Sold new in Georgia, it was relocated to Northern California in 2013 and was acquired by the seller with just under 18k miles in May 2020. New Bridgestone tires were mounted in preparation for the sale. This 1M now has 21k miles and is offered at no reserve with owner’s manuals, a car cover, service records from the past year, one key, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Production of the 1M was limited to one year only, and this example is one of just 326 finished in Alpine White (300) for the North American market. The 1M was visually distinguished from standard 1-series cars with flared fenders, unique front and rear styling, and four exhaust exits. Standard equipment included gloss black Shadowline window trim as well as xenon headlights with fixed washers. Black kidney grille surrounds have replaced the original chrome versions, and window tint has been added along with a carbon fiber rear lip spoiler.

Silver 19” Style 359 wheels were fitted with Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires in March 2021, with the fronts measuring 245/35 and the rears 265/35. A paint chip is noted to the side of the BMW hood emblem, and curbing is evident on the wheels. Cosmetic flaws at the bottom of the front bumper cover are pictured in the gallery below. The 1M’s brakes, rear subframe, and suspension components were shared with the contemporary M3.

The cockpit is upholstered in black Boston leather with orange contrast stitching as well as Alcantara accents on the shift boot, doors, and dashboard. Manually-adjustable sport seats feature inflatable side bolsters and extendable thigh supports. The car was ordered without navigation, and features a Harmon Kardon audio system with Bluetooth and a USB adapter.

The multi-function steering wheel wears tri-color stitching on its inner rim and features an M button for increased throttle response. Instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and an oil temperature gauge. The odometer reads just under 21k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added by the seller.

The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 inline-six drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential shared with the contemporary M3. Factory rated output was at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with an overboost function allowing for an additional 37 lb-ft of torque in short bursts. The seller has changed the oil and replaced a cracked charge pipe in the past year.

Additional close-up shots of the suspension and other underside components are included in the gallery below.

The sale includes owner’s manuals, a car cover, service records from the past year, one key, and a window sticker listing factory options as follows:

  • Alpine White
  • Black Boston Leather
  • Fixed headlight washers
  • Xenon headlights
  • Automatic climate control
  • iPod and USB adapter
  • BMW Assist with Bluetooth
  • Hardon Karmon surround sound
  • Shadowline exterior trim

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, listing history in Georgia and California from 2013 through 2020.
