2011 BMW 1-Series M Coupe in Black Sapphire Metallic over Black Boston Leather with Orange Stitching
  • Exterior Color Black Sapphire Metallic

Seller Description

This 2011 BMW 1M is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a black interior. Modifications include a carbon-fiber RevoZport hood, decklid, splitter, and diffuser, as well as Moton Club Sport coilover suspension, a Performance Friction Z-Rated big brake kit, a welded-in roll cage, Sparco 2000 fixed-back seats, and more detailed in the listing. The car spent time in Maryland and Connecticut, and relocated to California with the seller following his purchase on BaT in November 2018. During current ownership the seller replaced the tires, installed factory downpipes, and performed an oil and filter change. This 1M now has 30k miles and is offered with a modification list, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475), and modifications performed during prior ownership include a carbon-fiber RevoZport vented hood with AeroCatch racing hood latches, an adjustable two-piece front splitter with integral brake cooling ducts, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and trunk lid with spoiler. The factory lighting has been replaced with LUX H8 V5 color-adjustable ‘Angel Eyes’ headlights, tinted tail lenses, and iND black-painted side markers. Close-up photos of the trim and finish are provided in the gallery, and cracking is visible in the carbon-fiber hood.

Forgeline GA3R three-piece 18″ forged wheels measure 9.5″ wide up front and 11″ out back, and the seller mounted Hankook Ventus V12 F tires measuring 265/35 and 285/35, respectively. The suspension is modified with Moton Club Sport remote-reservoir coilover suspension with AST racing springs, and Turner Motorsport coilover mounts and Vorshlag camber plates are fitted. Braking is handled by a Performance Friction Z-Rated big brake kit utilizing stainless steel brake lines and PFC Z31 racing brake pads.

A set of Sparco Pro 2000 fixed-back seats with six-point harnesses are mounted with BimmerWorld billet seat rail adapters, and the rear seat bench is removed and a welded-in Piper Motorsport cage is fitted. Additional equipment includes Alcantara trim with contrasting stitching, RevoZport carbon-fiber door panels, alloy pedals from Ultimate Pedals, and a custom short shifter.

The factory multi-function airbag steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. Just under 30k miles are shown on the digital odometer, approximately 3k of which were added by the current owner.

The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 inline-six is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the seller reports that the car has been serviced at BMW dealers during his ownership. The most recent service included an oil and filter change in August 2020, and the seller has re-installed the factory downpipes for emissions compliance. Mechanical modifications include the following:

  • Custom Performance Engineering (cp-e) BMW n54 ?Core front-mount intercooler
  • cp-e BMW n54 αIntake dual-cone intake system
  • cp-e BMW 135i/1M QuickPower mid pipes
  • cp-e BMW 1M Triton dual cat-back exhaust
  • BMS turbo double baffle oil catch can
  • A trunk-mounted methanol-injection system from Alcohol Injection Systems
  • COBB Tuning N54 Accessport V3
  • Oil cooler thermostat delete plate from RBTurbo
  • Mishimoto 25-row oil cooler & BMW M4 oil cooler, mounted in series.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Maryland, Connecticut, and California through its most recent update in August 2020.
