Of the 983 units allocated for North America during its single model year production, this example is one of just 435 specified in Valencia Orange. Originally purchased in Nova Scotia, it changed hands with its local second owner in 2015 before being acquired by the seller in 2024 in Quebec. Maintenance was primarily conducted at O'Reagan's BMW in Halifax until 2019, with subsequent service performed by an independent shop. This well-maintained 1M is now being offered for auction with under 51k kilometers (~32k miles) showing on the odometer.The exterior is finished in Valencia Orange (B44), one of only 3 colors offered for this model. The 1M coupe can be distinguished from a standard E82 1-Series by its widened fenders, aerodynamic wing mirrors, specially designed front apron, high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, quad exhaust tips, and rear decklid spoiler. It rides on 19” BMW Style 359 wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2017. The seller has observed minor stone chips on the front and scrapes on the unpainted plastic section of the front lip. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a rear limited-slip differential sourced from the E92 M3. The 1M accelerates from 0 to 60 MPH in around 5 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 155 MPH. Its suspension, borrowed from the E92 M3, includes an aluminum double-jointed front axle and a five-link rear axle. The braking system features cross-drilled and ventilated 360mm front rotors with single-piston sliding calipers, and 350mm cross-drilled and ventilated rear discs with single-piston calipers.
