The 1M is smaller and lighter than it's big brother M3. With a shorter wheelbase and massive torque, the 1M has a more playful and delicate feel while matching the M3 handling and performance. It commands a sense of agility and a stable attitude in hard cornering, the large cross-drilled disc brakes at all four corners provided abundant stopping power. The quickened steering ratio and the transmission's short throws added to the feeling of precision.
