Over the standard 1-Series, the 1M featured flared fenders, special bumper covers and side skirts, quadruple exhaust outlets, and M3-style sideview mirrors. The 1M made use of the brakes, rear subframe, and suspension components from the contemporary M3. Only 740 examples were imported to the United States for the 2011 model year, and this example is finished in Alpinweiss III (300) over black Boston leather, and power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54 inline-six produced 335 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a factory limited-slip differential. The car is mostly stock, modified only with Eibach lowering springs.
