This 2011 BMW 1M is a Canadian-market example that is one of 983 cars delivered to North America during the model’s single-year production run. Finished in Alpine White over black Boston leather with orange stitching, it is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Factory equipment includes 19″ wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, Park Distance Control, heated front sport seats, navigation, and a Harman Kardon audio system. Modifications consist of a Dinan exhaust system, KW adjustable suspension, wheel spacers and studs, and a carbon-fiber rear lip spoiler. The car was first registered in Quebec and later spent time in Alberta before being acquired by the selling dealer in May 2022. Production of the 1M was limited to one year only, and this example is one of just 326 finished in Alpine White (300) for the North American market. Stopping power comes from ventilated and cross-drilled discs at all corners, and an adjustable KW suspension system has been installed. A brake fluid flush was performed in May 2022.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black Boston leather upholstery with orange contrast stitching as well as Alcantara accents on the shift boot, doors, and dashboard. Equipment includes heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, automatic climate control, navigation, and a CD stereo with a Harman Kardon audio system.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel wears tri-color stitching and fronts a 300 km/h speedometer, a tachometer, a digital information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The odometer indicates 17k kilometers (~11k miles), approximately 20 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54 inline-six was factory rated at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with an overboost function allowing for an additional 37 lb-ft of torque in short bursts. An oil change was performed in May 2022.
