This 2011 BMW 1M was first registered in California and later moved to Arizona, where the seller acquired it in 2015. The car is finished in black over black leather and powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The exhaust system has been modified with an Akrapovic catback exhaust and an aftermarket mid-pipe, while factory equipment includes 19″ Style 359 wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, sport seats with adjustable lumbar support, Park Distance Control, navigation, and Harman Kardon audio. Maintenance in 2021 included fluid changes as well as replacement of the tires. The front bumper cover and mirror caps were reportedly repainted under current ownership to correct rock chips, and the seller notes paint swirls as well as blemishes on the front bumper cover and both passenger-side fender flares. A spare front bumper cover accompanies the car.
Staggered-width 19″ Style 359 wheels wear 245/35 front and 275/35 rear Pirelli P-Zero tires that show date codes from 2020 and 2021. The seller notes a scuff on the driver-side front wheel from a previous tire installation.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black leather with contrast orange stitching as well as matching dashboard trim and door panel inserts. M-logo floor mats line the footwells, and the car was optioned with an Alcantara headliner. Amenities include power-adjustable sport front seats, automatic climate control, Harman Kardon audio, Park Distance Control, Comfort Access, and navigation.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel with tri-color M stitching frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. The digital odometer indicates 21k miles, approximately 8k of which were added by the seller.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54 inline-six was factory rated at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with an over-boost function allowing for an additional 37 lb-ft of torque in short bursts. An ER Charge Pipe is fitted to the induction system, and a BMS oil catch can has been added. The exhaust has been modified with a Mad Dad mid-pipe and an Akrapovic titanium catback exhaust, which features electronically-controlled internal valves and carbon-fiber tips. An oil change and coolant flush were performed in April 2021.
