This 2011 BMW 1M is one of 983 cars built for the North American market during a single year of production. Sold new in Canada, this example has been registered in Quebec from new and now shows just 7,200 kilometers (~4,500 miles). The car is finished in Alpine White over black leather and is optioned with heated front seats. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a factory limited-slip differential. This 1M is now offered in Canada by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report, factory manuals, and clean Quebec registration.
Compared to the standard 1-Series, the 1M is distinguished by a lower ride height, unique bumpers and side skirts, a quad-exit exhaust system, M3-style sideview mirrors, and 19″ split-spoke alloy wheels. Additional amenities include a multi-function M leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a CD stereo, and power accessories. Instrumentation consists of a 300-km/h speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer indicates 7,200 kilometers (~4,500 miles).
Under the hood is a twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54 inline-six, which produced 335 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 370 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm when new. Power is sent through a six-speed manual gearbox, and a limited-slip differential was standard. The selling dealer states that this 1M was driven sparingly in recent years and will be serviced for the next owner.
