2011 BMW 1-Series M Coupe in Valencia Orange Metallic over Black Boston Leather with Orange Stitching
  • Exterior Color Valencia Orange Metallic

Seller Description

This 2011 BMW 1M is finished in Valencia Orange Metallic over a black leather interior with contrasting orange stitching. The car was sold new in Vancouver, British Columbia, and remained there until being relocated to Edmonton, Alberta in 2013 and purchased by the seller in December 2017. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54 inline-six paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, and recent servicing included an oil and filter change in August 2018. This 1M is now being offered with service records, factory manuals, a clean Carfax, and a clean Alberta registration in the seller’s name.

Valencia Orange Metallic (B44) was an optional color for 2011. This car features 3M protective film on the front bumper, hood, front fenders, front door edges, side-view mirrors, and door handles.

The 1M is distinguished from the standard 1 Series with flared fenders, unique bumpers and side skirts, a quad-exit exhaust system, M3-style side-view mirrors, and 19″ Style 359M alloy wheels. It also shares the brakes, limited-slip differential, aluminum-bodied dampers, and the rear subframe and suspension components with the contemporary M3. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are currently fitted, and have approximately 1,300 miles of use.

A walk around video has been provided by the seller.

The interior is trimmed in black Boston leather with deviated orange stitching and Alcantara accents on the door panels, emergency brake and shifter boots, instrument binnacle, and dashboard. An Anthracite headliner is also fitted. This example is equipped with the Premium Package and heated front seats.

The grey-faced instruments feature a metric speedometer and temperature gauge, though the digital odometer indicates just over 25k miles.

The 3.0L N54 inline-six utilizes BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology and Double VANOS variable valve timing. Output was rated at 335 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 370 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm when new, and period testing showed a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.5 seconds. Power is sent through a 6-speed manual gearbox and standard Variable M Differential Lock. The most recent oil and filter change was performed in August 2018.

Additional photographs of the underside are displayed in the gallery below. The Carfax report lists British Columbia and Alberta registration, along with several odometer readings. The seller has offered to reimburse the winning bidder for the transportation expense to the US border as well as the US import duty.

Sold to a high bid of $56,666 or $59,499.30 with buyer fee. The seller offered a $2k discount to cover the import fee so I guess the final price is $57,499.30.
