2011 BMW 1-Series M Coupe in Black Sapphire Metallic over Black Boston Leather with Orange Stitching
  • Exterior Color Black Sapphire Metallic

Seller Description

This 2011 BMW 1M has just 17k miles and is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a black Boston leather interior. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged N54 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Modifications consist of a Dinan Stage 2 ECU upgrade and aftermarket audio components. The car was first registered in California in June 2011 and moved to the East Coast with the original owner in 2013. It was sold in 2015 to an owner in California, where it has remained since and was acquired by the seller in March 2018. This 1M is now being offered with a clean Carfax report and a clear California title in the seller’s name.

Production of the 1M totaled 983 cars for North America in 2011, 222 of which were finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475). The provided Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.

The 1M is distinguished from the standard 1 Series with flared fenders, unique bumpers and side skirts, a quad-exit exhaust system, M3-style side-view mirrors, and 19″ split-spoke alloy wheels. It also utilizes the brakes, limited-slip differential, aluminum dampers, and the rear subframe and suspension components from the contemporary M3. The 245/35 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires show 2016 date codes.

The interior is trimmed in black Boston leather with deviated orange stitching and Alcantara accents on the door panels, emergency brake and shifter boots, and dashboard. An Anthracite headliner is also fitted, and the 1M was not offered with a sunroof.

Additional equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights, automatic climate control, and rain-sensing wipers. A Mosconi amplifier is mounted in the trunk, and the seller states that the speakers have been upgraded. Currently the digital odometer shows approximately 17,250 miles, of which the seller has added about 1,200 over 10 months of ownership.

Under the hood is an N54 twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, which produced 335 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 370 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm when new. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and a limited-slip differential was standard. This car has been equipped with the Dinan Stage 2 ECU upgrade, which is advertised to increase output by as much as 56 horsepower and 73 lb-ft. The Carfax report indicates that the most recent service was performed in February 2017 at 10,943 miles.

The accident-free Carfax report shows registrations in Connecticut and California. Consistent odometer readings and a number of service history records are also displayed.
