Seller Description

This 2011 BMW 1M is a Canadian-market example which was recently acquired by the seller and now shows approximately 38k miles. The car was upgraded with Dinan S3 components in 2013 at a reported cost of $18k and given a corresponding Dinan serial number. Work included stage-3 software for the 3.0-liter N54 inline-six, a cold-air intake, high capacity oil cooler, upgraded intercooler, larger diameter front and rear brakes, as well as adjustable coilovers and a 32mm front anti-roll bar. Additional alterations include a Dinan pedal cover set and exhaust system, while factory equipment includes a navigation unit, and heated seats with manual adjustments. A service conducted approximately 1k miles ago included replacing the driver-side Takata airbag, and installing a new flex disc. This 1M is now offered with records back to new, clean Carfax and CarProof reports, and a clean Florida title in the name of the seller’s bank.

The car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) and clear protective film has been applied to portions of the hood and front fenders. The seller notes a few rock chips on the front bumper and quarter panel arches, as well as larger stone chips which have been touched-up. Close-ups of these areas are viewable in the 150+ photo gallery below, along with micrometer readings.

Factory 19” Style 359 alloys wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires at each corner. Larger diameter Dinan brakes are fitted front and rear, while other modifications include adjustable coilovers, an adjustable tubular 32mm front anti-roll bar, and a lower control arm monoball kit.

Black Boston leather is accented by orange stitching and Alcantara trim on the doors, dash, shift boot, and instrument bezel hood. Options include the Navigation Package, and manually adjustable seats with heating. Dinan pedal covers are fitted, and all functions remain operational according to the seller.

The odometer currently displays approximately 38k miles, about 1,200 of which have been added by the seller during his four months with the car.

Below is a breakdown of the costs of the Dinan modifications on this car:

  • Carbon fiber cold-air intake – $1,431.29
  • Stage-3 software – $694.69
  • High capacity oil cooler – $1,431.29
  • High performance intercooler – 1,144.85
  • Front and rear big brake kit – $8,390
  • High performance adjustable coilover suspension system – $1908.69
  • Lightweight tubular adjustable 32mm front anti-roll bar – $529.42
  • Lower control arm monoball kit – $529.42
  • Pedal cover set – $243.08
  • Exhaust – $1950.00

The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 inline-six is coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox and sends power to the rear wheels through a standard limited-slip differential. The Dinan stage-3 package reportedly increases output to 398 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque respectively. According to the seller, records showing consistent dealer servicing will accompany the sale, and multiple fluid chages were reportedly conducted as preventive maintenance. Dinan upgrades include a carbon fiber cold-air intake, stage-3 software, a high capacity oil cooler, and a high performance intercooler.

A handful of underbody photos are viewable in the gallery below and a Dinan exhaust system is fitted.

Both CarProof and Carfax reports are included and indicate no signs of accident damage. The seller has a loan outstanding on the vehicle with Pentagon Federal Credit Union which will need to be repaid before the title can be transferred to the new owner. A start up video can be seen below
